Stripe Fee Calculator
Accurate Fee Breakdowns for Stripe Payments and Invoices
Running an online store or a subscription service? Our Free Stripe Fee Calculator helps you manage your bottom line by revealing the true cost of every transaction. Stripe is a powerful payment processor, but their percentage-based fees and fixed per-transaction charges can quickly add up.
Our tool is designed for clarity and speed. Whether you are using Stripe for a one-time payment or a recurring billing cycle, we provide two essential calculations:
-
"Net Payout:" Know exactly how much money will arrive in your bank account after Stripe takes their cut.
-
"Amount to Invoice:" Calculate the total you should charge your customer so that you receive your full requested amount after fees are deducted.
Why use this calculator?
-
Updated for 2026: Pre-set with standard Stripe rates (e.g., 2.9% + $0.30).
-
Customizable Rates: Easily adjust the percentage if you have a high-volume custom deal with Stripe.
-

What is the standard Stripe fee in 2026? For most businesses in the US, the standard rate is 2.9% + 30¢ per successful card charge. International cards and those requiring currency conversion usually incur an additional 1% to 1.5% fee.
How do I "pass on" the Stripe fee to my customer? Simply use our "Amount to Invoice" feature. If you want to receive exactly $100, you cannot just add $3.20. Because Stripe takes a percentage of the new total, you actually need to charge $103.30. Our tool calculates this inverse math automatically.
Does this include the 1% fee for "Instant Payouts"? No, this tool calculates the standard transaction fee. If you choose to use Stripe's "Instant Payout" feature to get your funds immediately, Stripe typically charges an additional 1% of the payout amount.
Can I use this for international Stripe accounts? Yes! While our default is set to the US standard, you can manually change the percentage and fixed fee fields to match your specific country (e.g., UK, India, or Australia).
Is my data secure on HelpingWebTools? Absolutely. We have no connection to your Stripe dashboard. All inputs are processed locally in your browser, meaning your private financial data never leaves your computer.
